About the Author
Duncan McArdle is a British amateur novelist with a keen interest in the genre of Post-Apocalyptic survival. A professional Software Developer by trade, an active interest in technology has seen Duncan graduate from Edge Hill University in 2013, attaining a First Class Honours Degree in the field of Computing (BSC).
Spurred on by numerous types of media, Duncan eventually decided to try his hand at creating a novel, and thanks to a lifetime of experience in writing on a much smaller scale, was able to produce "Aftermath", the series you now see before you.
Duncan has noted a series of inspirations for his work, some of which include:
- Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead (The AMC TV Show & Jay Bonansinga Novels)
- Maxwell Brook's World War Z
- Dean Hall's DayZ
- Bethesda's Fallout franchise
Duncan currently resides in North West England, UK, living and working in Liverpool and Manchester respectively. As well as working in the technology industry, Duncan also enjoys similar hobbies, such as PC gaming, Web and App Development, and video editing.
